Hello, my name is Chenya D'Arcangelis. I am studying music education with a concentration in special education at The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. I study the flute with Kenneth Andrews. I graduated from Schenectady County Community College with an Associates Degree in Music Performance, studying with Norman Thibodeau. I am a member of the 2013 graduating class from Mohonasen High School in Schenectady, New York. Since high school, I have been involved as a student and professionally in many ensembles and groups. The Mohonasen High School Warrior Marching Band and Winterguard member and then later instructor, Theatre, Jazz band, Flute ensembles, Chamber groups and SUNY Potsdam's all-female a capella group: A Sharp Arrangement. I am also a sister of the Sigma Alpha Iota Gamma Delta chapter. In addition to playing flute, I also love to keep up on all of my secondary instruments, the sole reason that I decided to study music education. In my free time I love sing jazz vocals, play video games, exercise, and go on outdoor adventures of any kind. I can't wait to start the semester with you!
